How to know this Jesus
Q - So Who is this JESUS?
A - He is your Best Friend……
the One who knows everything about you, and yet loves you enough
to lay down His life for you. Your Atonement: the One who cancelled all your sin and made you righteous before your Heavenly
Father……
- your Prince of Peace……
- your Healer……
- your True Shepherd….
- your Provider…
- your Answer…
- your Breakthrough
- your Bread of Life…
- your Living Waters….
- your Joy…
- your Saviour and Salvation……
- your Deliverer…
- your True Rock
- the Lifter of your Head
- your Shade
the One who calms your storms with a Word….
- The Way, The Truth and The Life…
- THE ONLY WAY to enter heaven and escape hell…
Q - Do you want Him?
A - Yes
Q - How?
A - Easy!!!!!
Confess that you have been living your life without Him, rejecting Him, His ways, not accepting that He is
who He says He is, etc. Tell Him in truth that you want Him to come into your life/be Lord of your life (Perhaps get
someone to pray with you?)
Believe that you have been saved and commit yourself to a Christian church/fellowship to be discipled and baptised.
At salvation, our spirit is quickened by God’s Holy Spirit who comes to live in us. Prayer and the Bible become immediately more ‘real.’ This is called rebirth or being ‘born again.’
Go onto grow as a Christian, becoming more dependent on the reality of Christ through prayer, reading the Bible, spending time in His spiritual presence – and go onto grow into life on earth in absolute fullness! Freedom from the power of sin, sickness, oppression, lack; even death has lost its sting – because we don’t go to hell, but a glorious new heaven!
